PBL is a reflective and collaborative effort taken on by students and supported by teachers, administrators, schools, and surrounding communities.
We provide feedback and questioning cues to keep students on track towards their end product. (All tracks may not look the same and that's okay!)
Project Based Learning is so much more than “fun” summative assessments. It is a well thought out process by which students are responsible for continuous inquiry and learning.
Student works were varied to accommodate different learning styles so I figured this would be a piece of cake, or pie, so to speak.
In PBL, we as the teachers are simply facilitators and encouragers, teaching 21st century skills while giving students authentic opportunities to use them.
When initially given the opportunity to participate in this course, I thought it would be easy. I already incorporated projects for assessments and had implemented Genius Hour in my classroom for a more genuine, inquiry-based approach to learning.
