Different types of drugs

explained:

Think twice before you do it!

*Stimulants - causing the user to feel extra energetic by pumping up heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and blood glucose levels.

*Depressants - causing the user the opposite effect, to "slow down".

*Hallucinogens - shift of perception and emotions, causing the user to imagine things that aren't real.

*Dissociatives - causing the user to shift the perception of reality, as if they're watching themselves from outside of their body.

*Opioids - powerful painkillers that produce a sense of euphoria in users.

*Inhalants -

*Cannabis - "cannabis acts like a hallucinogen, but also produces depressant-like effects".

Club drugs are illegal and have no quality control. Therefore, no one can tell whether a pill or liquid really is what someone claims. Nor can anyone predict just how dangerous any drug may be.

Unpopular Opinions...

-“Reality is just a crutch for people who can’t cope with drugs.” – Robin Williams.

-“I think that everything should be made available to everybody, and I mean LSD, cocaine, codeine, grass, opium, the works. Nothing on earth available to any man should be confiscated and made unlawful by other men in more seemingly powerful and advantageous positions.” – Charles Bukowski.

-“F*ck the drug war. Dropping acid was a profound turning point for me, a seminal experience. I make no apologies for it. More people should do acid. It should be sold over the counter.” – George Carlin

Are all drugs bad?

Drugs kill!!!

At the end it is all different for all and everyone has to figure out for themselves.

-"There are drugs that reduce anxiety and stress such as medical marijuana, but is and always should be controlled.

Any drug that you take helps you in one way or another in different things for different amounts of time. If it didn't make people feel good then nobody would do it but the "high is temporary and negative side effects are much, much worse than the positive ones".

-Nicholas Medilishi

"Every day in the United States, 114 people die as a result of drug overdose, and another 6,748 are treated in emergency departments (ED) for the misuse or abuse of drugs. Nearly 9 out of 10 poisoning deaths are caused by drugs."
