Confucianism, Daoism, Leglism

Confucianism

Confucianism was the first of the schools of philosophies, and it was founded by a man named Kong Fu Zi, often called Confucious in the West, during the Chou Dynasty. They say that the philosophie seeks out the best for ones community, rather then for the individual. Confucianism ultimantely became the dogma of Chinese philosophy for almost two thousand years , until the Communist revolution successfully toppled the established sociel hierarchy the essentially prederetermined the existence of everyone born there-obviously Kung Zi was successful in discovering this key.

Daoism / Taoism

The Tao in Taoism literally means 'the way' or 'path'. Daoist/ Taoist people believe that it is teh way of the universe, the way one should organize their life. They believe that you can get there by practicing Wu Wei, which literally means inaction. Avoiding all aggression by doing all things that are natural. The symbal for Taoism is the Yin and Yang, which represents the good and bad of the world. The Yin is the light side, and it represents hte posotive, the good, and the light. The Yang is that dark side, which represents the negative, the evil, the dark, and death. They are the basics of the universe, and cannot survive without the other.
