piercings & strong perfume
- Punctual
- Turn off your phone
- Stay calm and confident
- Greet panel. Introduce self, firm handshake & smile
- Address panel with Mr. or Ms.
- Avoid chewing gum.
- Let the panel lead the interview. Take time to think and answer confidently
- Be enthusiastic and give positive answer.
- Listen to questions carefully, ask for clarification if necessary
- Ask questions
- How many people working at the moment?
- What is the next step?
- Thank the person. Shake hand. You may also leave your business card.

- If you haven’t heard back from the employer, call back at the end of the day to follow up
- If the date is not specified, wait till 2 weeks, then call to know the status.
- If you are hired, ask on these details;
- When to start
- Where and at what time should you come on the first day?
- What is the name of the person I should ask for?
- Do I need to bring any special work material or clothing?
- Your duties and responsibilities
- If you failed:
- Try to find out why and improve

What to bring?
- Resume & Cover Letter (for the panel(s))
- Copy of Diploma & portfolio (if appropriate)
- Paper & Pencil – for note taking
