Habitat & Food

Humans are the reason for the endangerment of the great white. Humans kill sharks for various things such as: Teeth and Fins ( Shark Fin soup-- a chinese delicacy)

Estimated less than 3,500 remaining in the wild.

Great white sharks are found in the

ocean (obviously). Great whites can be found in

almost any ocean around the world.

Great Whites are on the top of their food chain.

--Carnivorous (eats: other sharks, fish, small whales, seals, and turtles)

Great white shark eggs hatch inside the

mother and the mother then gives birth to

the sharks. Up to 9 'pups' at once.

Sharks can be 4-5 feet long at birth.

- 12-15 feet long

- Grey and blue with a white belly

- Life span: 30-40 years

- Weigh up to 7000 lbs

- Can swim up to 35mph when attacking
