Bio-degradable mulches

The petrochemical plastic mulches were replaced by the corn or plant cellulose based biodegradable mulches which has largely reduced labor costs and environmental costs. The cultivation of this method has increased it's soil fiber and healthier soil quality.

Using natural compost from food such as egg shells, unwanted vegetable stalks etc. and limited commercial fertilizer

After the use of new methods, plant mortality has decreased and yield has increased.

Water requirements have reduced by more than 70%, this can be explained by the newly weather controlled installations that also helps prevent evaporation.

As of 2014, they are contracted to support source of select ingredients to these community facilities. Some crops go to the guests of a resort called "Captain's Quarter" as part of the "Eat fresh on our Farm Experience" program.

Labor costs has reduced due to the newly introduced methods, such as the use of biodegradable mulches instead of petrochemical plastic mulches etc. According to their records and information provided, for weeding, labor costs has reduced to $72/month/acre.
