Break down of story board- Part 1
1. Geek looking at Street dance battle poster on wall
-Camera: tracking, close up from left to right as audience read that way, implies movement of dance. Establishes concept of dance movie
-Sound: Dramatic sound, linking to Star Trek, trumpets/horns preferably
2. WHEN A GEEK
-Camera: should either appear traveling in with an effect or just dissolve in to carry on theme of movement
-Sound: continuation of dramatic music and voice over
3. Cut to close up of front of geeks face, also introducing main character
-Camera: close up of face, actress smiles with spinich in teeth to increase 'geekiness' or social awkwardness
-Sound: continuation of dramatic music and high pitched 'ding' sound to emphasise smile
4. GETS SICK OF BEING BULLIED
-Camera: travel in or dissolve in
-Sound: continuation of dramatic music and voice over
5. Cut to bully pushing over geek
-Camera: close up of bullies hands pushing the shoulder of geek, possibly in slow motion
-Sound: dramatic bashing sound
6. The geek falls and screams no
-Camera: high angle close up shot of her falling, slow motion
-Sound: slightly muffled scream of noooo, load thump when she falls onto floor
7. Bully laughs at the geek as she falls
-Camera: low angle mid shot, slow motion of laughing
-Sound: muffled laughs because of slow motion effect
8. SHE DECIDES TO GET REVENGE
-Camera: travel in or dissolve
-Sound: dramatic music is quieter, preparing for the more dramatic reveal later
9. Zooms in to close up of geek getting angrier.
-Camera: slow zoom into extreme close up of geeks eyes.
-Sound: a deep dramatic low zooming sound as camera travels in
10. THE ONLY WAY NERDS CAN...
...IN THE HOOD
-Camera: travel in or dissolve in
-Sound: drums included ontop of dramatic music to add to the drama
11. Geek transformed into streetdancer/ gangster
-Camera: Zoom out of extreme close up of eyes and into a mid shot of geek standing in strong superhero pose dressed in a hoody, sweat bands (street clothing)
