On my publisher brand mark I didn't use a template or certain design. I inserted a text box and added my text and changed its font and design. Then I selected a border and made it bigger. I then filled in the border. I looked up the two pictures on google and copied them over.
The first brand mark that I made I used Publisher.
For my piktochart brand mark I didn't use a template or certain design either. It took me a little while to figure out how to use it because it was new. The first thing i did was pick a background. Then I found out that I was able to make the laptop picture bigger and find a website picture that could replace the blank screen.
My second brand mark that I made I used Piktochar.
Feedback
For my first brand mark the feedback was basically what I said in my successes and failures. Some people said the font was hard to read. The picture of the laptop in the corner was a little childish which I agree. The white from the laptop picture threw it off. It was to generic. Overall not real positive feedback on my first brand mark.
My second brand mark was more positive. It didn't have the negative comments like I had in my first one. It was a lot better than the first I was told. I think in the yammer voting it was first, so other people outside of the class liked it. Overall the second brand mark was more positive.

In the first one that we created we used publisher.
In the first one we created we wanted to make it look gloom and scary. That's why it is so dark and we have the cemetery for a background. We didn't necessarily have a specific design that we wanted to make or go off of.
In the second one we were going for a sci-fi, futuristic design. We didn't have an exact layout that we wanted to go off of.
Our first one was a failure because we used the wrong material. From the design point I really liked it. We had pictures that went well with the prompts. Felt like the colors were good. The main thing was that we had the wrong promt. Also, the font was a little hard to see some said. Once it was printed out though it wasn't that hard to read. Overall, the feedback wasn't great, but I thought we had a good design.
The second one we made was better just because we had the right prompt. I think the sci-fi feel that we were trying to get with it was achieved. Our prompt was also good, many people said they liked that. Our design overall seemed to be lacking something which is what people said. It seemed a little to simple. Overall, it was better than our first one and we improved.
In the second one that we made, we used power point.

and another person share my post.
In the second week of our social media
campaign, I posted again to Yammer. This
time I recieved only one like from the Yammer
community.
Week One
Overall as a group we got our most action
from week one. I posted to Yammer about
the essay contest and received one like on my post.

Week Four
I think that overall the social media campaign
was successful. We increased the overall number
of participants from last year. I believe the increase was because of all the advertising that we did. Hopefully each year it will continue to
increase!
I think that I have improved immensely in my design
skills. I also, have gotten a lot more familiar with publisher, prezi, yammer, and piktochart. Publisher was the only one
that I had previously used before. I wasn't very familiar with it, but over the course of using it in class I got a lot better with it. I never used prezi, yammer, or piktochart. By using them I found new ways to make/present that are better than typical power point or publisher. With every project I feel as if I progressed. If you look at each of my projects I think you can agree that I did get better every time.
In the fourth week I made my last post in Yammer.
With my highest activity of the weeks in the previous
week I was hoping for more activity on the last week.
Unfortunately I recieved my least amount of activity
from any of the weeks. I didn't recieve any likes on my
last post in Yammer. I think it was due to the high number of post from the previous weeks.
