-ve : - simple image

mixed ideas, Dont

- some of the text too

small

In the poster should there be a tagline

included?

What crazy situations could

occur in the trailer?

This was an easy choice for the

voters with all 10 agreeing with the question. which suggests a tagline will be a brilliant idea and professional one to use.

7/10 people chose a landscaped

background this could be because to

make the magazine more interesting

but like they have been on the set to take

actual photos of the film

But only 3/10 chose the animated background

maybe because it draws attention away from the text

and images.

Which of the following appeals

most and why?

The top cover chosen was magazine number

2 with 5/10 votes, the reason the people liked

this is because of layout the surveyors feel it is

a perfect layout and everything is easy to see

and read. The voters also liked the use of colour blue,

grey and white which gives it a cool look. But also they

think the image was interesting and dominates the page.

They also liked the use of little image extras at the top of the

magazine to give more variety and balance between text and

pictures.

3/10 people liked the 1st magazine cover because of the

eye catching and interesting looking image and the use of

different colours to highlight important parts.

2/10 people liked the 3rd magazine cover because of the dark

background and red writing but also how the text shapes the images

body to make it all merge together.

Do you read film reviews before watching the film?

What sort of colours would

you like to see on the poster?

The various choices included

pastal colours, black background

and white writing. Another choice

was purple and green like the freaky

friday poster. But also blue and pink to

match the boy and girl theme.

Would the use of split screens during the

transformation be a good idea?

3/10 people said they read film reviews

before watching the film therefore in my

magazine I should provide some reviews

to appeal to there needs.

However 7/10 people don't so the magazine

should also not be review dominating.

Theme idea?

8/10 people said yes to this idea

possibly to make it easier to see

what happens to both of the characters

at the same moment in time.

Whilst 2/10 people didnt like the idea

maybe because they want to see

something different, a new take on the

transformation.

I asked the question... I did a previous questionnaire

on facebook and many people wanted to see a comedy.

So do you think the idea of a theme such as Freaky Friday

would be a good idea?

The surveyors seemed to like the idea of a body swap comedy

with a grand 8 people saying yes. This result maybe because

of the generic cycle of body swap movies, that they enjoy and

want to see someone elses ideas to create another popular film.

What makes you want to see the film the most?

Questionnaire

The participents were allowed to choose more than

one option. Therefore 3/10 people chose the genre to

influence there choice on whether the film would interest

this is good because from my facebook questionnaire

the majority liked comedy so I am aiming for a suitable genre.

2/10 people think the poster makes them want to see the film

the most so although I chose a suitable genre the poster needs

to be eye catching and of there expectation.

But a massive 10/10 people think the trailer is the most important

so my trailer will need to be exciting and interesting to encourage

people to want to watch the film.

One person thinks reviews affect there choice so on my poster and

magazine there should be a fair amount of opinions.

Are you male or Female?

From my questionnaire 6 people surveyed

were females whilst the other 4 were males,

which suggests my products should be aimed

to more of a female audience or even both.

How old are you?

This is one of the most important general

questions as the products will have to be

suitable to the chosen target group. Looking

at my questionnaire all the members were

under 18 so my products must contain suitable

language and scenes etc.

Character types?

What main character types would

you like in the film?

The suggestions from the participents

was helpful, because without the character

types there wouldnt be a change between

the characters and the choice made may have

been wrong if I didnt ask the audience.

The audience suggested a change between boy

and girl, someone turning older and swapping

bodies with there pets. But also a nerd swapping

bodies with a cheerleader or jock.

Althought the use of a pet is a good idea it could

still be very difficult especially trying to train the pet

etc in such a short time. However the boy and girl idea

hasnt been used as much and would be a funny result

seeing how they would cope as eachother.

What part of the magazine appeals

the most?

- Extras

-Headlines

-Images

-Layout

-Upcoming news

-film charts

Should the names of the stars and the

director be placed on the poster or just

one of the choices?

What colours do you think

will go well together for a

magazine?

The majority of voters decided

that only the two main stars names

should be on the poster rather than

the director aswell. As it will look more

professional but also the film will be

recognised more because of the stars.

There was a mixture of choices, so

I feel it will be a case of testing if they

would look good on a magazine before

going ahead and deciding.

These were the choices:

-Purple, red and white

-Black, red and white

-Blue, grey and white

-Blue and green

-Black, yellow and grey.

How often do you go to the cinema?

4/10 people go to the cinema every week, so

the trailer has to be interesting to the viewer and

worth watching more than once. However 5/10

people every month go to the cinema so the likelyhood

they will only see the film trailer once is high so the

film has to be memorable. 1/10 people go to the cinema

every 6 months so therefore that person may not see the trailer

but the use of tv advertising will help

What sort of situation should be used

to trigger the change between characters?

Discovering the change

doing things out of their comfort

zones.

Meeting eachother

Sabotaging eachothers rep.

I think these ideas are great and should

be incorporated into the trailer.

-Arguement. This is the more traditional approach

and easy to use to effect the characters.

- Misfortune of others whilst one of them has

everything they want. Another common approach

but effective as it goes with idea of treat others the

way you want to be treated.

-warring families, so kids get switched to see

the true them. This is a new twist which could work

very well
