Elements of art!
Value is the amount of light or dark in a color. For instance, between black and white there are several values of grey.
Value can show space, depth or perspective. All three of these things create a 3-dimensional look.
A good value drawing should show at least 3 values. You want areas of rich black and pure white.
Make you drawings more interesting by creating values in different ways.
Objectives:
- we will be able to recognize the difference between SHAPE and FORM.
- We will be able to create form using value.
- We will be able to recognize value in art.
