Get a Zotero Account (Free!)
Prepare your computer
Install latest Firefox (>20)
Install the Zotero Plug-in
Install Word/Writer/Lyx Plug-in
Link Zotero to your account
Open up Writer or Word and start typing. When ready to cite a reference:
- Point to the insertion point
- Click "Insert Reference"
- Type in some key words
- Point to the Refernce
- Hit enter
In the Document
- Insert a bibliography
- Edit references in Zotero
- Refresh and all is well
- Change the style
- Simply Set Document Preferences
