This is the finished product on the window in Mrs. Banyai's classroom with cellophane on it. We are proud of our work and we hope her students enjoy it!

After tracing, we proceeded to cut the bristol

board with a utility knife.

After cutting the design onto larger paper, we proceeded to put cellophane on the bristol board to achieve the finished product.

First, we traced our sketch with chalk on

bristol board using the overhead projector which enlarged our design for us.

New Design Finished Product

First Design Prototype

We changed our design a bit so that we could have more light come in through the cellophane.

Design Prototype:

Enlargement:

For our prototype we used Geometer's Sketchpad on our netbooks, a ruler,

utility knife, cellophane and lots of teamwork.

We are going to use our prototype to create an enlargement to fit nearly 50% of a 90cmx102cm window.

Completed Prototype:

Our completed prototype on the window.

We duplicated our prototype in order to put the cellophane between so it would show both through the window and inside the classroom.

Team Goal:

Our goal was to research pictures of stained glass windows for inspiration, design a prototype, and then create an enlargment to fit Mrs. Banyai's classroom window.

This is the picture that we used as inspiration for our prototype.
