Theme colors of my magazine
The genre of my magazine
The theme colors i have chosen are green black and white as i feel they are unisex colors which fit with my target audience. I have also chosen these colors because they link with the title of my magazine as it is called pulse and my masthead is going to be an image of a flat line, which colors are green, white and black.
The genre of my magazine is very similar to that of the existing product Q magazine, Pop/Rock. Q magazine features artists such as Lady Gaga as well as bands such as Oasis, therefore i will include single artists and bands in my magazine.
Price of my magazine
As my magazine target audience is students it is stereotypical for them to have a low income, therefore i have priced my magazine at £2.00 as it is affordable but not too cheap.

My target audience is males and females aged 16-25. I have chosen this target audience because i feel that it fits with the genre and the layout designs of my magazine. I will have to think carefully about the price of my magazine as my age range is around the student young adult age range therefore it is stereotypical that this age range will not have a high income, therefore i will have to price my magazine low so people can afford it.
