A course map illustrates the alignment of critical course components:
... an alignment map or a course map as “a table used to organize course and module level objectives or competencies so they correspond to the assessments, activities, materials, and technologies used in the course” (2014, p.6).
A course map is a document that demonstrates how course and module/unit level objective are aligned with course content, assignments, and instructional techniques.
