Why Start This Collaboration?

Can engage in activity, if interested, but can also hang out in library space

Sign up ahead of time to come to the library for activity -others allowed to participate day of, if room

  • Captive audience: many students already in the library at lunch
  • Bring new students to the school library

Snacks provided

  • Introduce students to librarians, develop meaningful relationships

  • Utilize all the resources public library has to offer
  • Change in public library staffing model to allow for more outreach opportunities
  • Promote public library resources and programs
