The equipment will include:
-ASUS X751LDV-T4288H Windows 8.1 64-bit
-Blender 3D
-Office supplies
-a usb PS2 controller
I don't think there will be any ethical or legal problems with this game.
I would give it the rating of 12 because of comic violence and drugs
Opportunities
-the idea of the story is great (in my head)
-The whole gameplay could be something new created out of some great games
-The game will remind in the playstaion 2 games area (mainly rayman, Jak & Dexter triology and the Crash games)
Strengths
-The story is pretty original.
-There is not a huge variety of games in this style.
-It will have some kind of weapon crafting system what I never really saw in a game.
-It’s set in a fictional world so there is a lot of creative freedom how I design it.
-there probably will be a coop mode
Weaknesses
-coop mode is hard to do.
-it will be hard to design the map
-the end could make the whole game be on a higher pegi rating
-the models won’t be very detailed
Threats
-Computer crashes
-Not enough money
-Laziness of employee
the audience I plan to aim my game at are people who liked games like Rayman or Jak and Daxter since that is the kind of game I want to make. It will probably be a game for the younger audience because it will have a cartoonish art style and it won’t be too difficult. It will be very colourful. That doesn’t mean it won’t be a fun game to play for adults too.
My Platform will be the PC since it's easier and cheaper to produce a pc only game (licence reasons)
My budget will be between 539.25£ and 559.25£ what is pretty cheap compared to the costs other people have. Since i'm working alone and i don't have any sponsors i'll have to pay it all on my own but since i've got most of the equiment already that's not a problem at all.
The story is about 2 scientists which are defending the world from Ironheads created by the grandfather of the one scientist (by accident) by putting one of the "New Elements" close to the earth core
