- Find an interesting location.
- Take in interesting photograph, use forshortening!
- Consider layout, and lighting.

Activity
In front of you is a pen.
- First, I would like you to observe the pen whilst rotating and moving the pen, look at how the length and width differs depending on the angle of the pen.
- Second, I would like you to draw the pen in a foreshortened angle, using one point perspective technique.
- Third, add shading and shadows to assist with creating a three dimensional observation.
