is a particular target audience and it is shown clearly through the nature of the music video and the content of the lyrics.
Age
Gender
Our target audience ranges from about 15 - 29 years old. This is because this is the main age range that most people that listen to Hip Hop and R&B come from. I believe this is because most relevant and consistent Hip Hop and R&B artist range from these ages as well so they may feel that they can relate to an extent. However due to what our music video will be like we hope for it to appeal to a much wider audience from about 11 - over 50.
I believe that it has representations of both males and females. I think the beat of the song will appeal to the men more because it may be seen as a masculine and typical Hip Hop/R&B production. However I think the lyrics may appeal to a more female audience due to the meaning and content of the lyrics. Women especially are more likely to have self esteem issues due to society giving an impression through the media that women should look a certain way to be beautiful. This is why they may use this as a way to help them feel confident.

As a whole, I believe that our music video will appeal to everyone as it will feature footage of people ranging from different ages. For example a family gathering and a birthday party.
