How We are doing
Our start!
Struggling
- We got a loan of seventy dollars with a four month repayment term.
- We decided to make custom T-shirts by drawing on blank shirts with fabric markers.
- We are currently doing pretty well.We are still doing iron on t-shirts. Our T-shirts are more popular at the lower school. We have sold a lot T-shirts at the lower school.
- We put 34.36 dollars into a end of year product. The end of year product is a big product that almost all of the groups contributed money to. The product is a water bottle that says town school on it and we can put lemonade into the bottle.
- We started struggling within a week of starting our business.
- No one wanted to buy our shirts, we were being criticized because of our price and quality, and lastly we were losing money and we were losing money fast.
Summary
Our Solution
- Instead of drawing on t-shirts we started ironing on designs. The way it worked was the customer would send us a picture of what they wanted. We would then print out a mirrored version of their design onto a epson sheet which we then ironed on the T-shirt.
- We started off pretty bad, but we fought through it and became a very successful business.
- We have Learned many things but some of those biggest things is what it is like being in a business and how to manage the money. We learned that it is hard to do well in a business. We found that creativity is helpful in a business.
