Stop Motion Project
Going to the Media Museum was brilliant, there was so much information to take in. All over there were displays of classic animations, some I recognised, some I didn't. Most of my favourites were by Aardman; Wallace and Gromit, Angry Kid and Creature Comforts.
There was also a section that displayed all the early methods of displaying animations, here's a few that I took photos of.

Tim Burton
Tim Burton is an American film director, film producer, writer and artist. Most of the work he has done is very dark and creepy such
as Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride and many others. Burton is known for using the same people in many of his works, among them is Johnny Depp, who has become a close friend of Burton since their first movie together.
Nick Park
Nick Park is an English filmmaker of stop motion animation. In 1985 he joined Aardman Animations in Bristol and in 1989 he created the first Wallace & Gromit short,

Phenakistoscope
A Grand Day Out. Since then he has gone on to create many notable works including, Creature Comforts and Chicken Run.
One person's work I admired was Ray Harryhausen's. He's worked on some very good movies, like Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans.

Ray Harryhausen is an is an American film producer and special effects creator. He has worked on many famous
Zoetrope
films including; The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts. He has been credited as one of the pioneers of stop-motion animation for his work during the 50's, 60's and 70's. He developed a technique known as dynamation, which allowed a stop-motion animation to be inserted into a live action film, similar to green screen we use today.
