RECIPES

CREMA CATALANA

Ingredients:

  • 1 l milk
  • 4 yolks
  • 200g sugar
  • canela
  • 1 peel of lemon
  • 40g wheat flour

Elaboration:

  • Heat the milk with the canel and the peel of lemon.
  • Beat the yolks with the sugar and the wheat flour.
  • Pour the milk on the yolks. Mix it well.
  • Heat the mixture but don't boil it.
  • It has to be on the fire until the mixture gets thicker.
  • Put the mixture on earthware pots. When it's cold, put some sugar on and burn it.

PA AMB TOMÀQUET

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Tomatoes
  • Olive oil

Elaboration:

  • Cut the tomatoes in halves.
  • Spread the tomatoes on the bread.
  • Add some olive oil on the bread.
  • You can eta "Pa amb tomàquet" with cold meats.
