I thoroughly enjoyed this session. I thought I was very good with smart board. However, I learned little tips and tricks other than just building the application. It was a lot of fun. This is perfect staff development. You can't beat SD in your pajamas!

I thought that this tutorial was fabulous. It was very easy to follow and I could start and stop it whenever I needed to. I would most definitely recommend this site to the teachers in my district.  I can't wait to try another one. 
Even if you have been using the Smartboard for a while this is a very helpful exercise to use some of the features in a different way.  I found it very worth my time to use many of the features and learn new ones.

Another awesome class!  I learn something new each time I take a class.  I've made several lessons that make use of layering to reveal information, but I never thought about using a flashlight.  Great idea!  And for kids it's magical which means you have a very engaging lesson.  Can't ask for more than that!  Thanks!

As a new user of a SmartBoard, I found this beginning lesson to be extremely helpful. 
As with the other courses from James, the steps were clear, the videos were excellent, and I learned skills I can apply in many different content areas when using the Notebook software.

Even though I already knew many of the techniques that were demonstrated it was an excellent review and confirmation that I am doing things ""right"". I also did learn some new ""tricks"" that will be very helpful. All in all it was a very useful course.
Even though you may have to adapt the application to your particular subject matter, you gain a wealth of information in using not only Notebook 10 but also other useful websites such as Wordle. Well worth the time spent!!!

In addition to creating a word search I can use with my students for review of material, I found this easy-to-follow course to be a great way to learn some new features of Notebook 10 and to relearn some features I'd not used in a while.  A great course for beginners as well as more advanced users.

Need that extra help to develop your own content. This is the place to get it. Step by step tutorial at a speed and level all can use. Pause and play as the lesson is used in the background.
Once again - an extremely helpful class. It's great to be able to work on the assigned puzzle after each video - and even work on a puzzle for school at the same time. The ability to review the video as often as needed and the slow step by step directions are fantastic!

While I knew many of the tasks you were explaining, the idea was great and I found myself listening to the audio rather than watching the video as I worked on my file.
