The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging and short original videos.
Web 1.0 allows users to view content but editing isn't allowed on the users.
It was created for consumers of content and could only be edited by the Webmasters.
The difference between web 1.0 and web 2.0 is that in Web 2.0 it allows users to interact with the website more and edit specific setting. In web 1.0 users have no ability to change anything. They can only read the web page.
Web 2.0 is a more user-friendly base that allows users to share information and edit web pages.
An example of sharing is Social Media and how people can share information all over the world. This allows the user to edit.
This is a read/write web.
The Hyperlinks between web pages began with the release of the WWW to the public in 1993. some elements of web 1.0 sites include
- the use of frame sets
- static pages instead of user generated content
- property of HTML extensions
it is the term that is used to describe
the conceptual evolution of the world wide
web.The core principle of web 1.0 is top-down approach over the use of the WWW and its user interface.Socially, users can only view web pages but cannot reflect on the content of the web pages.
Web 2.0 is the idea that
takes the internet for
information sharing, social media, interoperability and
user center design
