Childrens Toys
Most children's games are based around action figures and plush toys.
Dressing up is quite a big thing aswell. Children always go through their parents wardrobes and dress up in their clothes and make up. This could be a good idea for a game. Making some sort of plush toy and dressing them up could be a good idea.
Flash Games
There are hundreds and thousands of flash games to be found on the internet. There are well know websites like, www.newgrounds.com which are full of flash games that are made by the general public. Websites like bbc also flash to create childrens educational games. From this i can learn the style of target audience and what a childrens game should be like. This will make it easier to predict my target audience.
Interactive Media
Interactive things are found everywhere, everyday. Peoples lives revolve around them. Things like phones are used every day for contacting each other. Everyone watches TV regularly. Computers are used for pretty much everything these days, for example i'm using a computer to create this now instead of cutting, sticking and writing everything on sheets of paper. Children are always using games consoles and this is relevant to the project. You can buy barbie and action man games for the playstation so this shows me what kind of games children are looking at and like.
