But with the help of Sir Winston Churchill Britain was able to survive the onsault of German attacks and help defeat the Axis Powers in WW2

America didn't want to get involved in European affairs

But when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor for example, the U.S.A hit back.

The U.S.A was the first country to use nuclear bombs in battle. In 1945 two nukes were dropped on Japan, ending World War II.
