Analyze DVD covers

The iconic Batman symbol is seen on many parts of the cover. This tells the audience that this movie will be apart of the batman franchise. Which will draw any body that likes this super hero towards this film.

The Dark knight

Not only the fact that the Bat Man is standing in the middle of the cover tells he is the main character it also shows he is of much power and greatness this is shown by the low angle shot looking up to him this also canoes how people look up to super hero such as batman as roll models because they look over and protect the good people.

The side cover is simple and follows the black theme of the DVD cover but also has the glowing batman symbol on it and the title of the film which makes it stand out.

The other character that is presented on the cover is the Joker who is the main antagonist and the alter-ego to the the protagonist, Batman. The cover uses juxtaposition to highlight the differences of these characters. The way that the Joker is intimidating this woman on the front cover shows he is feared which also points out that he is the Bad guy who is going to disturb the equilibrium of the film.
