Reflections

• India is a vast country with very diverse needs for each parts of the country and different cultures
• There are numerous factors that have the capability of affecting healthcare in the state of Andhra Pradesh
• Political
• Social
• Economical
• Geographical
• The system is very complex and hard to understand with only a few months of research

Aims of my project...

• Various reasons that may make the patients choose private sector healthcare in India over public/government healthcare system
• Main problems highlighted are the unavailability of beds and specialist diagnostic facilities/infrastructure in government establishments

• Need for a commision which monitors the ativity of healthcare providers in the state
• Need to make spending more efficient and effective
