.Took his first art lessons in Napoli.

.Was the son of the first female Greek painting artist, Helen Boukoura.

.Grew up in Hellas where he painted a

a lot of sea places.

.Belonged to the Art school of Munich and worked on Realism and Impressionism.

.Unfortunately died 26 years old.

Konstantinos Volanakis was born in 1837 in Crete and studied in Academie of Fine arts in Munich.He was inspired of sea and boats. After his death , his statue was placed in Piraeus just across the sea.
