Wollaton Hall would be a option because the main male character in the video is wealthy, therefore I need to film in a big garden, but I'm going to film it tactically so I don't get the hall or huge fields in the background.
I will also have a few other odd locations where the main female character and the main male character spend a lot of time together.
I will be using a lot of the streets to film because the main female character was a prostitute, therefore looking back on her previous life before her 'man' saved her, she'd have been on the streets a lot.
I will be using many different camera angles for my music video because I have chosen to have my video narrative and performance-based, therefore need to have a few mid/long shots to show the audience what is going on. I will also be including many close-ups, not only because nearly all music video's do at one point, but because one of Lana Del Rey's genres is alternative hip-hop. Looking up the conventions of hip-hop I have found that a lot of the hip-hop artist only really use close-ups in their music videos. I will be doing a lot of unusual angles because I am ensuring that throughout the video the audience are unable to see the main male character, therefore I will have to find a clever way of hiding his face, not only with the props but with the camera too.
I am planning on using a female, aged 17 to play as Lana Del Rey, she's local therefore easier to get access to and I am in contact with her, so I can tell her where to be and when. I am planning on using a local male, aged 17 also to play as the 'sugar daddy', he won't have as much acting to do as the actress who is playing Lana Del Rey, because he merely needs to stand there and look at her as a sexual object.
After looking at the lyrics and understanding the meaning of the song I have created a story which will run through the video. The narrative is a prostitute who has been living on the streets of Las Vegas, who then gets saved by her 'sugar daddy' who spoils her in riches and makes her so important. She falls deep in love with him, but he still only sees her as a sexual object and I will be showing this by not allowing the audience to see the main male characters face. I will also be including many home videos that are flash backs of her life before and while she was/is a prostitute. I will also be including strong performance from the actress who is playing Lana Del Rey and have many close-ups of her singing and showing how much passion she has for the wealthy male.
