First What is math?
Simply, Math is about solving problems.
How much food must one eat?
How much food will feed a family for a night?

How big of a home does a whole family need?
What time do I need to go to bed to get 8 hours of sleep?
Why must I learn this in school?
Like everything else in life you must start out small.
To solve algebra problems you must first know how to:
Count
Add and Subtract
Multiply and Divide
You must Learn:
To order the steps that need to be carried out
Evaluate Expressions
How and when equations are used
Who uses Math anyway?
-Shoppers calculate sales price, tax, and Change.
-Cooks use math to modify the amount a recipe will make.
- Vacationers calculate how much their trip will cost and how much spending money they will need.
