I included these two clips along with the two music video clips because they also show the clear influences with the gritty feel of the britpop genre and they also show young musicians enjoying themselves and especially the Oasis early days rehersal clip shows the gritty feel we want for our music video,

Conclusion

In conclusion I think I have really taken advantage of all the media technologies out there to make my final product the best it could possibly be into our research and planning websites like Youtube helped us broaden our horizons by finding videos too influence us. We used simple formats like Microsoft word to create questionnaires about music videos. We also used more complicated forms of media such as desktop publishing like photoshop and indesign to create advertising schemes like posters etc. To create the video itself we used Sony Vegas. The more advanced forms of media technology like the desktop apps and sony vegas were obviously a lot more complicated and took some more time to get used to and to adapt too but a challenge I feel I handled well I also feel I used wix.com very well to help make our final product look as real and naturalistic as possible.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stage?

The other two music videos I have linked in are from two Manchester or the Madchester category for some Oasis and The Stone Roses the videos are from Rock 'n' Roll Star and She Bangs The Drums. Rock 'n' Roll star would obviously heavily link to our final product as it is the song we have chosen and the video itself has influenced us because the theme of the video is Oasis in their younger days preforming a small gig and getting up to all kinds, She bangs the drums has also influenced us because it is a similar vibe with The stone roses just performing the song on stage. The two other clips I have included from Youtube are from The Stone Roses film Spike island, which follows the story of 5 young lads in a band who are heavily influenced by the Manchester band and travel to see their biggest gig at spike island. The other clip is from the Oasis Documentary Supersonic.

In terms of research for our music video we used media technologies such as youtube.

I used several types of media technologies during the construction of my product

For example I used programmes such as indesign, photoshop and wix.com for my advertising of our product.

The clips on the last slide include some music videos we have been influenced by to produce our final production and also some clips from films which helped us with our mis en scene, creating a music video to be as similar to a documentary as possible whilst also creating something very psychedelic in nature. The clips of music videos I have added are from 3 bands, Oasis, Foster The People and The Stone Roses , the songs included on the last slide are, Doing it for the money and Champagne Supernova to create the psychedelic feel for the video and in the video we have shown clear links to this and there has been heavy links to Champagne Supernova in particular as you can see in our video. Also with the video of Doing it for the money we have shown clear links through using certain visuals and special effects using Sony vegas.
