After living as expats in Dubai for several years, we decided to start traveling full-time and share inspiration with our readers from different corners of the world.

OUR MISSION?

To take our followers on a trip around the globe!

We talk about the good and not-so-good aspects of travel and, by doing so in a realistic way, we want to encourage everyone to travel, no matter where they come from.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT:

We’re East meets West, yin and yang. We’re from India and Portugal and we grew up in our respective countries, We bring to the table a unique mix of Eastern and Western perspectives often missing in other travel publications and blogs. Let's say our blog has a "multicultural twist"!

Backpack ME is a travel website run by Indian-Portuguese duo Ashray and Zara. A&Z have been traveling for over 6 years, and have visited more than 55 countries.

Backpack ME's content focuses on:

- inspirational posts on different destinations around the world;

- practical info and travel advice (visas, budgeting, bookings, etc);

- reviews of travel related products & services.

Backpack ME is a highly visual travel website. We do not skimp on good writing, but like to share the feeling of the places we visit and the things we do with our followers, through the
