With regards to YouTube, prior our coursework, I have been very experienced with using the website and the features in which it has. We used this website to upload final editions and rough cuts of our film opening. These videos have then been exported into blogger which are available to watch. I have also used used this to create the evaluation question number 5. I have used this as I am able to add annotations to my video which allows me to explain as the video is being played.
With regards to final cut pro, I was not experienced in using this specific software. However I had used similar programs such as after effects. Because of this I found the software easy to use and easy to navigate. I found that this software had features which enabled me to create an opening to a professional standard.
With regards to blogger this was the first time in which I had used the online website. We used this website to create a blog which demonstrated and evidenced all the work in which we had done this year on the media course. This website has many added features which allows us to show our work off in a specific layout allowing the work to be represented in a more professional way. I found it easy to navigate around this site and relatively easy to learn how to use the multiple features.
With regards to the DSLR camera, I had not come into contact with it before the preliminary task of shooting the swede which was based on the warp films classic: 'Tyrannosaur'. From using this as experience I am now able to fully use the camera at ease to produce videos of high definition and a professional standard. We used this camera for the basic reason of shooting our film opening entirely. We used this camera and exploited its many functions and features which can be changed in order to retrieve a more professional shot.
With regards to SD cards, I am very capable in using them as I have had many past experiences with SD cards. We used SD cards to quickly and efficiently transfer files of a big size to other machines. An example of this is using an SD card to transfer the photos and the film caught on the DSLR camera to the computer directly into final cut where we started editing. This was a very efficient method of file transfer due too how quick and easy it was to do.
