When filming we used HD cameras that are used by professionals, the £10 deposit was definitely worth it as when we watched back our footage, the quality was very high. The camera was simple enough to use, switch on the microphone and the camera and press record. There were many different settings that we experimented with and some that worked better than others.

We also used a tripod with the camera to get a stable shot.

Throughout the project, we had to post about what we were doing on the blog. This was from creating fake blood, to animatics on our film. Everything to do with our coursework will be filed onto the blog. It has been very useful as we are able to keep track on what we've been doing and get comments back from our supervisor.

In the editing suite we used Final Cut Pro to edit our piece. We had to upload the footage from the camera and put it in order. We then had to choose the shots that we wanted to keep and to make sure they all flowed well. After this was done we then had to add some effects, such as having multiple shots on one screen and having a digital clock in the corner sto show the passing of time.

Once we'd done this we had to do our sound editing. this was done using the software Garageband. from this we were able to choose our soundtrack and put in some foley effects.

To get audience feedback on our work we needed some way of getting our film onto the internet where people could see it. The best idea for this was using Facebook. As people our age are able to see the film, poster and review. and as the key demographic is people of the age 16-25. Then that is nearly everyone on our friends list that uses facebook. We were able to get constructive criticism from our friends so we can tweak our work and make it better.
