SUGGESTIONS AND CONCLUSION

REASONS AS PER OBSERVATION

Suggestions:1.security, nursing staff and doctors to be more empathetic towards the patient and the relatives

2.The provision of care should be more swift(which is the most problematic area here)

3.The number of beds can be increased.

1.Nursing staff comes in maximum contact with the relatives I.e; communication.

2.Relatives are in emotional distress and worried for their patient.

3.The atmosphere in the casualty is always in general tensed.

4. The security personnel deal with tensed and angry patients and their relatives.

5.The doctors and nurses due to chaos in the casualty have some heated arguments as well.

6.The patient when conscious is very tensed about his condition and may even have an argument with the doctor him\herself.

Thus the conflicts in the casualty are bound to happen but can definately be controlled.

To do a pre-employment check-up of the candidates selected for a corporate sector job via telemedicine.

ROLE OF A TPA?

THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR ONE MORE...

The study was done as a conceptual study along with the added guidance of senior faculty at concept integrations private limited.

• After a lapse of certain time, people at MAHER try to find out the address of the women by talking to them.
• Next they contact their families and check whether is it safe for these women to b transferred to their home.
• After all the background check ,they unite them to their families.

WHAT IS TELE-MEDICINE?

• Providing cashless treatment to the policy holders .
• Claim processing and reimbursement.
• Online assistance to Insured during hospitalization and filing of claim documents.
• Enrollment of data / insured details and ID Card issuance.

The use of tele-medicine can be of great ease and comfort and it would be the use of technology put to good use.

Observation and interview techniques were used for the study.

At VATSALYADHAM, the women were exposed a rainbow of activities for their betterment for their mental health which includes:

• listening to music
• playing simple games
• Practice of various exercises
• Medical therapy as well
• All these activities make the women calm and happy and ready to re-unite with their families.

CHECKING THE GENUINITY/ AUTHENTCITY OF HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIMS

• It was started by sister lucy kurien in 1991 and today has many branches in India and abroad.
• The case study was carried out in the wagholi branch of MAHER named VATSALYADHAM.
• VATSALYADHAM is the home for poor and mentally disturbed women.

• Desk review by checking admission file and various laboratory and diagnostic investigation of the patient.

• Only the tests have to be done which can be done at the nearest satellite centres of the healthcare provider.

The hospitals visited were RATNA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL and DEENANATH MANGESHKAR HOSPITAL in pune.

• MAHER is doing a samaritan work in the rehabilitation of mentally depressed women.
• Their system of rehabilitation is working ably and showing prominent results.
• Vocational training is also provided to suitable women according to their skill levels.

• A Third Party Administrator (TPA) is an organization that processes insurance claims or certain aspects of employee benefit plans for a separate entity. This can be viewed as "outsourcing" the administration of the claims processing.

THE PROBLEMATIC AREAS

Area with maximum problem appeared to be in : patients relatives and nursing staff category.

Area with minimum problem appeared to be in : doctor and the nursing staff category.

The study of checking of the genuinity of the cases was carried out in the above mentioned hospitals and the cases were found to be genuine.

Inamdar multi-speciality hospital has 3 bedded casualty

Pre-employment health check-up for corporates with telemedicine application.

The casualty provides a wide range of services like

emergency , first aid ,general out patient services to management of medical, surgical emergency and full scale trauma care.

The study was conducted at concept integrations healthcare consultancy,Bavdhan,Pune.
