E Introduction Review the sight words with the students so they are familiar with them before you begin the activity. Activity Write the sight words on sticky notes and place them on a wall. Turn down the lights and give each child a turn with the flashlight. Have them shine the light on the words and read each one. After each word they read they have to close their eyes and spell the word. Assignment students would be group together in pairs. one student will read the sight word while the other one will spell the words on a sheet of paper. they would then switch soeach child has a chance to both read and spell the words. Closing I would have students write a story including the sight words. That will ensure they know how to use each word correctly.
