EFFECTIVE MEETING

A meeting is a gathering of two or more people that has been convened for the purpose of achieving a common goal.
THE IMPORTANCE of CONDUCTING a MEETING:
Business meetings can help increase the work.

It's the person who lead the discussion on all
items before and after the meeting

The one who takes notes on paper or laptop and responsible to keep previous meeting notes and agendas for the meeting member

It's advantage is that everyone is updated at once.



Are the documents that give those attending meetings prior notice of what is being discussed. Agendas also give all the relevant details of when and where the meeting take place and who attends. Normally they have reports attached.
Minutes: Are the formal record of what was decided at the meeting. They also tell you who was present.

AFTER the MEETING
1- Archive meeting documents:

All meeting documents including the agenda minutes and supporting documents should be kept together and archived.
2- Check an action:
- Often people need a gentle nudge to remind them about completing action items. Leaders need to check to ensure that action is taking place as agreed.
3- Send a thank your card:
-In fact a well- crafted business thank you card is an invaluable tool to help you build solid relationships in your business or career.
