Transcript of peyton & morgan

Why is it important for students to learn about the Middle Passage?
It was a very gruesome time in our past and it is important for students to learn because it is part of their history and explains how Africans came to America.
What should be done today as an after-effect of the Middle Passage?
We should reflect on our past and be sure that nothing like this should ever happen again. Students should learn and dwell on this event deeply in school.
What in your opinion was the worst part of the Middle Passage?
The worst part for me was knowing that this Africans were not only tortured but ripped from their daily lives and family so suddenly by their friends and peers, not knowing what was to become of them.
