The Brazilian Highlands
The Brazilian Highlands are located in Brazil.
Another name for the Brazilian Highlands is the Brazilian plateau.
The Highlands cover most of the eastern, southern and central parts of Brazil, which is about half of the country's land area.

How Were the Brazilian Highlands Formed?
The Brazilian Highlands were formed by basaltic lava, although, today there is no volcano activity on the Highlands.
The shape of the Highlands today is mostly because of erosion.

When were the Highlands Formed?
The Brazilian Highlands were mostly formed during the Precambrian Era, (4600-541 million years ago.)
