and Chestnut Trees are
some of the plants that grow
in the Deciduous Forest Mice,Chipmunks, Blue
Jays, and Woodpeckers
are some of the animals
that live there One way people affect
the Deciduous Forest
is by cutting down the
trees to make room
for their farms Another way people
affect the forest is by
cutting down the trees
to use the wood for fuel
It takes 40 gallons of sap to
make 1 gallon of maple syrup.
The American Chestnut tree
used to be common in the
Deciduous Forest. In 1904, someone brought trees from another country to New York City. Those trees carried a disease called Chestnut Blight. Both water and
sunlight are some
of the Deciduous
Forest's natural
resources
The Deciduous
Forest is 17 million
acres You can find the Deciduous Forest
in north America, south America,
and Asia.
