By: Rebecca Estevez Location Place Human Interaction Region In India, the growing of population is huge which makes it difficult to maintain the environment. There are over one billion people living in India. There is high life expectancy, however space limitations are starting to act. India definitely has an economic class system, which they used to call caste system. It includes an upper, middle, and lower class. The most current environmental issue is currently the population and the population growth. The most popular cities in India are Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Jaipur. India and China share a border but are also separated by Nepal. Both China and India have the Himalayan Mountains running through it. Movement India Location India is located in the Indian subcontinent in South Central Asia, and it is located in both the eastern and northern hemisphere. Some countries and bodies of water that border India are the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Gulf of Mannar, Indian Ocean, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Burma. Its coordinates are 28˚ N (latitude) 77˚E (longitude). Important places that make an impact in the world:
The Himalayas; that run through India, the Kanchenjunga; which is the highest spot in India with an elevation of 28,169 feet or 8,586 meters. Another very important landform would be the Ganges River. absolute map relative map Climate of India:
affected by tropical monsoons and that come from the south to temperate the northern part of India. The main languages that form India are Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese, and Maithili. The main religions from India are:
Hindu, Muslim, Christian, and Sikh. The Indian government is Federal Republic, the chief of state is President Pretibial Patel, and the head of government is the Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh. India’s economy is diverse, which includes: traditional village farming, modern agriculture, handicrafts, a wide range of modern industries, and a multitude of services. India trades with Europe and America along with several countries in Asia.
