The Black Mamba Dendroaspis Polylepis A black mamba isn't really black, but the inside of its mouth is. the black mamba is the fastest snake in the world! Ranging from ten to twelve MPH! the black mamba is the second longest venomous snake in he world, ranging from 8.2 feet to 14 feet When a black mamba is cornered, it raises a flap on its neck that we all know as a hood and imitates a cobra. Look closely at this picture, it's just stating to rais its hood. Did you know is you get bitten by a black mamba and you don't have the anti-venom for it there is an almost 100% fatality rate? The time you have left varies a lot, it depends on where you were bitten, how old you are, how healthy you are, your size, how old the snake is, and how big the snake is. Once you get bittn by a black mamba, you'll feel the side-effects pretty quickly, the side-effects are, rapid dizzyness, and trouble breathing etc. you'd usually die within 20 minutes. a female black mamba can lay from 5-20 eggs. I chose the black mamba as my report because it is one of the most dangerous snakes in the world. A black mamba lives in east and southeast Africa. black mamba hatchlings really are black for a couple weeks! any questions? The End
