The LEGO Movie

Hey there! I've managed to shrink into a LEGO® minifigure™ and go behind the BRICKS of The LEGO® Movie! Now, join me as we see the BUILDERS of the movie and it's purpose.

Transcript of The LEGO Movie

What is a-
I know, I know! You were going to ask, "What is a Master Builder?". Well, in the human world, a Master Builder is a guy, or a girl, whom gets payed just to build with LEGO bricks. (they help with building and planning the LEGO products). But in LEGO: The Piece of Resistance, they are a secret band of creative minifigures whom oppose Lord Business' actions. Some examples of Master Builders from The LEGO Movie are: the tough-as-nails Wyldstyle (played as Elizabeth Banks), the ancient & heroic wizard Vitruvius (played by Morgan Freeman... DUH!), the 1980-something space guy Benny (played by Charlie Day), and DC superhero Batman (played by Will Arnett).
Why make this Prezi? Why not Henry Knox or something?
A few things: 1) I already made a prezi about Henry Knox, 2) I LOVE LEGO! My first LEGO playset was with an Indiana Jones playset: "7623 Temple Escape" or something? And 3) I watched the Lego Movie and LOVED IT! 4)... And I have some of the products for it.
Who is Emmet?
I thought I told you earlier in, "What is it about?"? No matter! Let's just tell more about him! Emmet, played by the Emmet minifigure (whom is played by Chris Pratt), has worked as an instruction worker most of his life, and longs to be noticed, but even his fellow construction workers haven't noticed him. He lives and builds with the instructions, and because of this, he's mostly uncreative & boring. But sometimes he isn't, like when he built the "Double-Decker Couch". He's not a fan of either danger or adventure, which sometimes makes him "freak-out". However, his whole life changes after finding the Piece of Resistance while going after Wyldstyle. From there on, he is pulled into an epic battle between order and imagination with Lord Business and the Master Builders.
What is it about?
The LEGO Movie (or otherwise known as LEGO: The Piece of Resistance, or LEGO: A Motion Picture) is about an everyday, rules-following, absolutely normal LEGO minifigure named Emmet Brickowski, who is accidentally identified as the Special, who is "the greatest, most interesting, most important person of all times," and the key to saving the world. Emmet is pulled into an adventure to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the entire LEGO universe together. And with the help of a fellowship of strangers, Emmet embarks on an epic journey, for which he is hopelessly and hilariously unprepared.
Wait, who's Lord Business?
Lord/President Business (played by Will Farrell) is practically the villain of the LEGO Movie. President Business is the uptight CEO of Octan and the entire LEGO universe, while Lord Business is the same, but he plans to glue the entire universe in HIS image. Let's just hope that the prophesied Special will stop him in his tracks on time...
Websites used:
Does he have any goons or henchman?
Well, he has an army of robots and Micromanagers, and a henchman named Bad Cop/Good Cop. Bad Cop has two faces: one side portrays his "bad" side, while the other one shows his "good" side. I suggest you hang around with Good Cop, while you run away from Bad Cop... That is if you're a minifigure. If you're a human, squish him. With your boot. Or shoe. Or sandal.
Thanks! I enjoyed the prezi.
I hope so! I worked a long time on this prezi... possibly the whole night between 2/8-9/2014. But before you go, I have a video from a few characters from (bum, da-dum, BUM!) the LEGO Movie. Well see ya'!
