2012 Presidential Election
The bills for the houses were expensive so people couldn't pay.
After the U.S. house sales prices reached the climax in mid-2006, refinancing became more difficult.
The population in the year of 2012 in the United States was 314.1 million people.

15-64 years: 66.2%
65 and over: 14.4%

Leather was a big trend. Leather jackets, dresses, shirts, pants, etc.
Peplum Pieces were becoming a thing for evening events and daytime occasions.
Velvet was also becoming a fancy look in 2012.
The most popular genre of music in 2012 was country music.
Health Care Issue
In 2012 action/adventure was the most popular genre for movies.
In 2012, people thought that health cares were expensive. Because of that, they opposed the Affordable Care Act which was a law that approves health cares.
People didn't like the idea of health cares because some people were poor and they couldn't afford it. When Obama took office, Americans began to feel more positive than negative about the health care.
Obama wanted to make a few changes to the health care law from 2010. He wanted to increase the amount of states to have ObamaCare.
The issue is that people (mostly latinos) are coming to the United States illegally.
This issue is happening between the U.S. and Mexico.
Mitt Romney felt that the United states has to build a high tech fence along the border of the U.S. and Mexico
Barack Obama felt that the U.S. needed to order a halt of young people coming from other countries to the U.S.
In 2012 same-day delivery became well known and was used more often when shopping online
Same-sex marriage was a issue to some. There were voters that agreed, didn't agree, and the voters who didn't care about what happened with this law.
One of the things that affected the 2012 election was the Economy.
The Economy was voted "Extremely Very Important"
It affected who would win, because the president would have to discuss the issue and tell people they can handle everything.
Mitt Romney didn't agree. He thought that only a man and a women should get married to each other.
Mitt Romney was running for president in 2012.
He was a Republican.
His Vice President was going to be U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan
