Definitions
Divisor: is The answer of a division problem.

Divident: Is the number that you divide by.

Prime number: Means that it has only one factor

Composite number: Means that a number has two or more factors.
Prime Factorization
This is how we do a prime factorization.you get a composite number and you multiply it. if it continue being composite you draw two lines under it. If it's prime you draw one line and keep going with the same number. You get those two lines and multiply it. For example you get 24 and start doing every thing when you get to those lines you multiply it 3x8= 24 you put 3x8 under those two lines. Until you get all of the numbers prime.
It should look like this.
24
3 x 8
3
2 x 4
x
3
2
2 x 2
x
x
This is your answer.
Partial quotients
Partial quotients are another division method.
Let's say I need to divide 600 into 100 so we do This shape and put the 600 inside 100 in the outside . chose any number an put it on the out side of the long line. If the number is lower than the number inside you can divide it and then you subtract and if you have remainder you put it on top of the half rectangle. then you add he numbers that are in the long side line you add them and that's your answer.
factors of 48
48: 1,2,3,4,8,12,16,24,48
Multiples of 14
14: 14,28,42,56,70,84
Divisibility Rules
2: if the last digit is even.

3:if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3

4: if the last two digits form a number that is divisible by 4
5:it's divisible by 5 if it ends in 5 or 0.

6: it's divisible by 6 if the number is divisible by 2 and 3.

9: it's divisible by nine if the sum of the digits is divisible by nine.

10: it is divisible by ten if it ends in 0.
