How many trees are down every year?? 60,000 sq kilometres of trees a year is cut down. Think of a soccer field the size of the pitch is
100 - 130 yards long and 50 to 100 yards this picture is 60,000 km of soccer pitches this represents the amount of trees cut down in a year
Every year the government payout an averge of $180,00 a year to cut down 60,000 km of of acerage to give you another idea on how many trees are cut down each year.So year Ireland is basically being cut down. with the amount of money the Government spend
on cutting down down trees you could buy and average of 3 Ferraris. experts estimate that we are losing 137 plant,
animals and insects species everday due to trees being cut down
that means every year we lose around 50,000 species every year
as the forests speicies disappear so do many possible cures for life threating diseases.
