AFTER DOING OUR PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE IN ZERO GRADE AT CENTRO EDUCATIVO CATALINA , WE NOTICED THAT STUDENTS PRESENTED GREAT INTERESTS FOR LEARNING ENGLISH LANGUAGE, BUT THEY FACED NUMEROUS PROBLEMS IN USE OF ENGLISH.

STANDARD: SIGO LA SECUENCIA DE UN CUENTO CORTO CONTADO POR MI PROFESOR APOYADO EN IMAGENES, MOVIMIENTOS, GESTOS Y CAMBIOS DE VOZ.

OBJECTIVE: BY THE END THE CLASS THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PRONOUNCE AND RECOGNIZE SOME ANIMALS IN ENGLISH.

IN OUR EXPERIENCE IN THE CATALINA SCHOOL, WE OBSERVED THAT THE ENGLISH CLASSES WERE NOT WELL CONDUCTED BECAUSE OF FOLLOWING FACTORS:

FIRST ACTIVITY: THE TEACHER STEPS IN THE CLASSROOM, GREET STUDENTS, AND ONE STUDENT BEGGINING TO PRAY

WARM UP: TEACHER SAYS TO THE STUDENTS THAT LISTEN THE SOUND OF THE ANIMALS THEY ARE GOING TO LEARN, AFTER THEY WILL SEE THOSE ANIMAL IN FLASHCARD WITH THE PRONUNTIATION, LATER THEY WILL REPEAT IT AND A VIDEO ABOUT ANIMAL WILL BE PLAYED FOR BETTER UNDERTANDING

SECOND ACTIVITY: THE TEACHER STICKS ON THE WALL THE ANIMAL FLASHCARDS, SO STUDENTS HAVE TO RECOGNIZE THEM, AFTER TEACHER MAKES A SOUND OF AN ANIMAL AND STUDENTS HAVE TO MOVE WHERE THEY SEE THAT ANIMAL

EVALUATION
FINALLY, EACH STUDENT WILL BE GIVEN THREE ANIMALS FLASHCARDS, AND WHEN THE TEACHER MENTIONS AN ANIMAL, STUDENTS HAVE TO DO PAIR WITH OTHER STUDENTS THAT HAVE THE SAME ANIMALS

WARM UP: TEACHER AND STUDENTS LOOK A VIDEO ABOUT GREETING AND FAREWELL.

SECOND ACTIVITY: TEACHER GIVE TO THE STUDENTS A CARD FOR THEY PAINT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT A COLOUR THAT REPRESENT EVERY MOMENT OF THE DAY FOR EXAMPLE: BLUE(MORNING), YELLOW(AFTERNOOM) AND BLACK(NINGTH).

EVALUATION: DURING THE ALL PROCESS OF THE CLASS TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE PARTICIPATION.
RECOMENDATION
AFTER DOING THIS PROJECT, WE RECOMMEND THAT:
FOR TEACHER: TO THINK OF DIFFERENT STRATEGIES FOR DOING THE CLASS, SPECIALLY GAMES AND LUDICAL ACTIVITIES BECAUSE CHILDREN LEARN BEST IN THIS WAY.

FOR SCHOOL(STAFF): TO DECORATE THE CLASSROOM WITH ENGLISH POST CARDS SO THAT STUDENTS CAN FEEL INMMERSED IN AN ENGLISH SPEAKING ENVIROMENT.

FOR PARENTS: TO PLAY VIDEO AND LISTENING TAPE IN ENGLISH AT HOME AND MAKE SURE THAT STUDENTS SO THEIR HOMEWORK.
CONCLUSION
AFTER DOING THIS PROJECT, WE HAVE CONCLUDED THAT
STUDENTS LEARN BEST BY PLAYING
THE TEACHER CAN MAKE THE CLASS MORE INTERESTING IF THE ACTIVITIES ARE ACCORDING TO THE LEARNING STYLES OF STUDENTS
