Let's talk about the Goodman MBA
What's an MBA?
The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The MBA designation originated in the United States, emerging from the late 19th century as the country industrialized and companies sought out scientific approaches to management. The core courses in the MBA program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc.
What's the Goodman MBA about?
We offer a two year "traditional" MBA program.
The first year is focused on foundational core
courses: a "transition year" that helps you bridge the gap between a non-business undergrad and more in-depth second-year courses. Second year coursework can be in general management or you can specialize in marketing,
finance, accounting, or human resource management.

B. Prestige and credentials
Correct! It's not easy going to grad school- and the MBA is one of the most well-known and well respected graduate degrees.
C. Want maximum flexiblity
Correct! The Goodman MBA is extremely flexible because it gives you hands on knowledge in a wide range of areas in addition to a specialization.
D. Can't find a job
Wrong! Don't let finding a job be the only reason you do the MBA- you have to be interested in the subject matter. Yes, the MBA increases your job options but the three letters aren't a magic ticket- it's what you get out of the program that counts.
I'll get a good job, right?
Yes you will- we have an impressive 94% employment rate within three months of graduation. And we're ranked by Canadian Business as the top 3 in Ontario for ROI.
