language of risk and concern Map, stats and tables appeal to
rational, reasoning human beings Risk includes: statistical reasoning, mathematical
logic and rational thought, but can only be effective accompanied by emotions. "Risk is clearing a mix of the ' objective' and the affective, and the language of risk has to work at both levels"(109).
