Numbers are infinatly small and infinatly large. Numbers... THEY GO ON FOREVER! HOW THE NUMBER DEVIL SAYS IT... "the numbers will just keep getting bigger...Till the cows come home." Palindromic Numbers in The Number Devil The Number Devil explains patterns in math by showing Robert a formula that creates palindromic numbers. But... Numbers go on forever because you could just keep dividing, adding, subtracting, multiplying...whatever! Palindromic Patterns A palendrom is something that is the same forwards as it is backwards. Numbers can get larger... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 9, 10, 11......100...10000.....100000.....1000000000 1000000000000000000000000000000.... Numbers can get smaller... 0 -1 -2 -3 -4 -5 ... -100000 ... -1000000000000 ... IT GOES ON FOREVER! I see it as the universe... no one knows the beginning or the end... it goes on forever... getting bigger and bigger... and the sun is tiny compared to the rest of the universe... The Number Devil will take you on a journey... Palindromic Numbers It would thousands, millions, billions of lifetimes to barely even get into all the numbers... It would take thousands, millions, billions of lifetimes to even barely get into the universe... Definition: Pal-in-drome: Noun. : a word, verse, or sentence (as “Able was I ere I saw Elba”) or a number (as 1881) that reads the same backward or forward In My Words: A Palindromic Number is a number that reads the same forward as it does backwards.
